
LANCE GAGE, President, CEO
Lance Gage, Director and President, brings to the Partnership a broad-based knowledge of the real estate industry. Mr. Gage has been the general partner of more than 100 real estate syndications and General Partner of over 20 LLCs and LLPs since 1969 and has been a real estate developer and financial advisor for nearly 40 years. He has been involved in the purchase and sale of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate and has taught real estate syndication to Southern California real estate agents and brokers specializing in tax planning. His companies and partnerships have specialized in the purchase of raw land for development. Mr. Gage’s expertise is in determining the highest and best use for property, master planning the property for development, initiating zone changes, and taking the property through the entitlement process. He also actively worked with his sons to create new homebuilding entities. At Marathon Homes, Mr. Gage was responsible for the overall property acquisition process, including locating properties, completing site assessment reviews, and analyzing feasibility studies, as well as performing market analyses and implementing exit strategies. At Vision Homes, Mr. Gage has been responsible for new project development, acquisitions, entitlements, land planning and property management. He conducts all negotiations with regard to purchasing terms, conditions and contingencies. He is also responsible for escrow and title work and project presentations before city agencies. Lance and his wife of 40 years enjoy spending time with their four children and traveling in the RV.
MISCHA GAGE Sr Vice President, CFO
Mischa D. Gage, Director, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been actively involved in the start-up of a number of companies, including one that completed an initial public offering. He brings to the Partnership an extensive and broad-based background in all aspects of the real estate development process, including experience in project management, site selection, construction, marketing, and sales. At Marathon Homes, which saw revenue grow from nothing as a start-up to more than $41,000,000.00 in annual sales in just three short years, Mr. Gage served as president and was responsible for determining the general direction of the Company. He oversaw all aspects of development projects and the day-to-day operation of the Company and its subsidiaries, including marketing and business development, as well as organizational structure and resource management. Prior to starting Marathon, Mr. Gage founded Marathon Development Corporation in 1991 to serve as the general partner of syndications focused on purchasing and developing raw land throughout the west and midwest. Since that time, Mr. Gage has also founded and served as an officer of other holding companies and hotel development companies, among others. He presently serves on the board of directors of two nonprofit organizations and several for-profit companies. Mr. Gage obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Southern Methodist University. When Mischa isn’t working he enjoys international travel.
JEFF MULLINS, Vice President, COO
Jeff Mullins has spent the majority of his career in sales and marketing with a specialty in luxury industries. Most recently he was the Director of Dealer Development at a custom coach manufacturer where he was responsible for recruiting, qualifying, and building a 20 million dollar sales network. He has lead research and development teams and has extensive experience with project planning. Mr. Mullins worked directly with customers and guided them through many closings to ensure their complete satisfaction. As Cathedral Custom Homes builds for the most discriminating buyers, Jeff will go to great lengths to make certain their building quality will never waiver. Jeff and his wife of six years are expecting their first child in the spring of 2008. As a native Texan, he enjoys time with family and friends, traveling and golf.
DAVE DONAHOO, Construction Manager
Dave Donahoo brings over 20 years of construction knowledge to Cathedral. While still in high school Dave worked at 84 Lumber in Plano, TX where he was thoroughly trained on all the integral materials that make a good home. Dave spent weekends working along side many contractors building fences and decks. After graduating Plano East Senior High, Dave headed for the Gulf of Mexico and spent 5 years working as a Commercial Deep Sea Oilfield Diver for Offshore Petroleum Divers. He was a member of the dive team that set a world record for the deepest hot tap on a live pipeline at 782’. Dave then dried off and started his home building career working for a few notable national home builders. Dave ran his own custom home building company for several years. He has had 3 projects featured in the Parade of Homes Village Tour. He has furthered his knowledge of construction with commercial projects, and multi family projects. Dave and his wife of 18 years, have 4 kids. They have one in college, one in high school, middle school, and the youngest in elementary school. In their free time they rest or clean up after the kids.
